- Daniel, have you read the Customer Pages (White Pages) in the front
- of your phone book? There are several paragraphs explaining this.
- As a former SW Bell and AT&T employee, I do know for a fact the
- phone companies do monitor phone calls (whether they be voice, TT
- or modem) randomly - they have the right to do this to check out
- how things are working. They are not intruding on our privacy
- by doing this as they are not doing it on purpose to listen to
- our conversations.
