  18. Hi Mike, I'm not going to quote any of the message that prompted me to
  19. send this message, for I am sincerely looking for information and not
  20. seeking to fan the flames of controversy.  There have been in several
  21. messages allusions to the expulsion of affiliates from NFB, which I
  22. think everyone would agree is a grave action to take.  Can you tell me
  23. how many affiliates have been expelled during NFB's history and the
  24. stated reasons for the expulsions?  I should also like to hear from
  25. anyone who knows of similar expulsions from ACB and the reasons for
  26. same.  If you would prefer not to reply to my query here I'd be happy to
  27. hear from you via the post office.  My address is:

  32. I am genuinely trying to understand both organizations and to decide
  33. which, if either, should have my allegiance.  I would like to know what
  34. would prompt any organization to expell entire affiliates, especially
  35. any organization which refers to itself as "like a family".  A family
  36. does not readily oust its own members.
