  69. There was a straight up-and-down vote by the convention as to whether it
  70. would hear your case.  If the vote had been in the affirmative, you'd
  71. have been given ample opportunity to state your case.  Remember also
  72. that you had distributed to what I assume was a wide variety of movers
  73. and shakers in the NFB tapes designed to put your case for retension as
  74. a member of the organization.  Given that many members had read your
  75. materials, I should say that they had at least a modicum of information
  76. upon which to base their vote.

  78. The convention voted not to hear your case -- I know; I was there -- and
  79. thus let the decision of the Board of Directors stand.

  81. You can choose to believe that the convention was led by the nose; I
  82. believe otherwise.  So be it.
