- Shrink wrap machines can be purchased from outfits such as Consolidated Plastics
- Company, 1-800-362-1000. Call them for a free catalog. Be forewarned, however,
- that the smaller ones start at $402 and go up from there.
-
- If your volume is relatively low, there is a second, economical answer. From the
- same company you can buy boxes (500 count) of shrink wrap bags in varying sizes
- beginning at $36 or so for video tape size. Then go out and buy one of those
- kitchen freezer bag heat sealing units for around $25. Finally, buy a hot air
- gun (used for stripping paint) from a hardware store for around $30. Place your
- product in a bag, seal it with the kitchen unit and shrink it with the hot air
- gun. It will look every bit as professional as "higer price spread". Try it.
