  14.     I am looking to obtain some very detailed demographic
  15.     information for the restaurant and hospitality
  16.     industry in Southern California, the Baja of Mexico
  17.     and the Gulf coasts of Lousiana and Texas.

  19.     Given that I do not want to spend the thousands of
  20.     dollars that it would cost to consult with the very
  21.     best what is the best venue for obtaining such?

  23.     For instance, if I were to put forth a considerable
  24.     amount of time into researching it myself, could
  25.     enough up-to-date information be extracted from a
  26.     public or university library?

  28.     Or are there government agencies that have this
  29.     information compiled for a lower cost than the
  30.     private sector.

  32.     Or are there other types of information services out
  33.     there that can do the job?

  35.     I am well awa1re that the quality and accuracy of what I
  36.     getting may be directly proportional to what I
  37.     pay, but I am just trying to reduce any costs in fees
  38.     and in time.
