  14.          Support Russian teachers and students!

  16.          We are forced to address this message to Officials, 
  17. teachers of schools, colleges and universities as well as all 
  18. other persons who could assist us, because our soviet economic 
  19. system has crashed ( :-( or :-) ??? ),     but, unfortunately, 
  20. the lack of specialists experienced in market economics and the 
  21. lack of their teaching and training system are among the reasons 
  22. of market development braking in Ex-Soviet Republics.

  24.          We would like to establish friendly relations, personal
  25. and professional contacts with schools/colleges/youth organizations
  26. which provide the initial teaching/training of specialists in the 
  27. financial/bank sphere to use your professional and human experience.

  30.          To move in direction of the existing world education 
  31. systems the following information is urgently required:
  32. - educational structure, methods and experiences of teaching
  33.   school leavers for financial/bank professions,
  34. - educational planning and financing, interaction of a District
  35.   Department of Education, School Council, School Administration
  36.   and businessmen (for public/private/religious schools),
  37. - From an Elementary/Secondary School to a College and further:
  38.   (list of disciplines/subjects, school/college curriculum and 
  39.   examinations, periods of studying, degrees and ranks, etc.),
  40. - Life at School: (grades and evaluation of educational achieve-
  41.   ments, attendance, repetition and drop-out, problems of 
  42.   teachers and students, life at school and at home, etc.),
  43. - national and local criteria in public examinations, tests,
  44.   Intelligent Qoutient evaluation, test procedures,
  45. - Scouting (organization, documents and practice),
  46. - adult/recurrent education,
  47. - computers and education - experience,
  48. - examples of original school/college documents (Certificate of 
  49.   Secondary Education/Diploma in Finance/Accounting, Certificate
  50.   of Educational Achievements and ?..)
  51. - rules of comparison with foreign certificates, transfer credits
  52.   when necessary,
  53. - school books, manuals, instructions, periodicals for techers and
  54.   students, public domain software, if possible (we had heard that
  55.   the "Book Aid" Project exists).

  57.          For our part, we are ready:
  58. - to make distribution of documents and information, received,
  59.   among all the financial/bank schools of the Russia (providing
  60.   fast translation into Russian if necessary);
  61. - to send abroad all known local educational information required;
  62. - to send addresses of schools, colleges, universities, other
  63.   known commercial and non-commercial organizations in Russia 
  64.   (in Ex-USSR) with and w/o E-mail;
  65. - to take part in projects concerning personal contacts of teachers
  66.   and children, scouting, as well as financial education and using 
  67.   computers in education.

  69.          Let us introduce ourselves. Our college - Rostov School 
  70. of Finance has 60-years experience of financial specialists 
  71. teaching for the South Regions of the USSR (Russia). Now about 900 
  72. students of the Rostov Region and North Caucasus (basically 14/19-
  73. years-old girls) study for professions in the sphere of budgeting 
  74. and accounting, banking and insurance, taxation and financial law.
