  11. Thank you (again) to everyone who responded to my post regarding
  12. buying PC components through mail order.  The information and support
  13. was greatly appreciated!

  15. A number of you requested to know the name of the company who gave
  16. me trouble.  Their name is Microchip Components (Tustin, CA).
  17.  
  18. They never mailed me anything.  They would repeatedly admit to not mailing
  19. my order, and assuring that it was mailed "yesterday."  Their excuses ranged
  20. from rediculous to silly.
  21. They charged me $7.50 for 2 day UPS delivery, but when I requested
  22. UPS tracking number they addmitted to using 2 Day Air Post (through Post
  23. Office) which does not provide tracking numbers.  By the way, 2 Day Air
  24. Post costs $2.50.
  25. Finally, my charge account was charged promptly on the day I placed my
  26. order, even though nothing was mailed.  And, as I suspected, I am having
  27. trouble getting them to post the credit.
  28. I am persueing the matter with Attorney General's office and my credit
  29. card company.
