  19. Alamo (from whom else in Texas?) at Hobby Airport in Houston in
  20. order to visit with two of our children and to spend some time in
  21. Galveston.  No problems, no pressure, car was fine.

  23. The unusual circumstance was that several months earlier I had
  24. injured my knee in a bicycling accident.  It seemed to be improving,
  25. but far too slowly.  However, during the vacation it was giving me
  26. considerable pain, particularly climbing stairs, and I had promised
  27. my wife that I would, in fact, see a doctor when we got home.

  29. On the final day of the vacation we returned the car to the office
  30. near Hobby and rode the van back to the airport.  It was a rainy
  31. day, and as I was leaving the van, I slipped on the step and landed
  32. hard on my foot, really jarring the injured knee.  On the flight
  33. home, I noticed than there was no pain in the knee any longer, and
  34. there hasn't been any since.  Consequently, I broke my promise to
  35. my wife and didn't go to the doctor.

  37. I know there are a lot of amateur (and maybe even professional)
  38. lawyers on the net.  My question is:  how can I file a negative
  39. lawsuit against Alamo for the medical expenses I didn't incur?
