- I was thinking that the merchant cannot ask for another form of ID
- when one's using a MC/Visa, because I saw it being mentioned on this
- newsgroup quite a few times. When I was asked for ID recently to use
- my chase MC I called up Chase customer service and she told me that
- they can. I refered to the Credit card agreement and sure, it says
- that 'the merchant can at times demand identification to
- honor the card'(not reproduced verbatim). So what's the deal? Is
- Chase imposing more rules?
