  17. This monthly auto-post is to inform/remind you that:

  21.     If you are having a difficult time dealing with the large
  22.     volume of email subscribing to ACTIV-L entails, please be
  23.     aware that a (nearly) identical "feed" is available on the
  24.     UseNet newsgroup MAP; use "rn" or "nn" or "readnews" on a unix
  25.     system; or "vmsnews" on a Vax, or see your system operator and
  26.     ask about access to the UseNet newsgroups.

  28.     IGC subscribers (PeaceNet and EcoNet): in (c)onferences,
  29.     do "g misc.activism." (including the ending ".").

  31.     Finally, on a personal note, just a reminder that I do not
  32.     subscribe to ACTIV-L so please write/CC by email if something
  33.     requires my personal attention. At the moment I am also
  34.     working on a sort of "Survey" form for MAP and ACTIV-L readers
  35.     to tell us about your likes and dislikes, and will try to
  36.     organize this in a way that avoids having Rich and I flooded
  37.     by unmanageable electronic tonnage.

  42.     plausibly, if you know someone who does not have access to the
  43.     UseNet but would be interested in our material, here's how to

  47. propagation (only 67$), or forwarding to FreeNet, various FIDO nets,
  48. CompuServe, BBSs, etc, please let us know. And to everyone -- if you
  49. have ideas for improvement, or complaints, or requests, again,
  50. please drop us an email note. And, of course, please "Spread the Word"
  51. to your friends about MAP and ACTIV-L.
