  12. As a postscript to the last message, I have now built the server using cc
  13. instead of gcc and although the server runs ok, there are still broken
  14. facets to the environment - like the expansion icon in the upper right of
  15. twm windows being missing, and twm menu commands (shell escapes) failing.

  17. My recommendation to all people out there attempting this is DON'T USE GCC
  18. vers 2.2.2 TO BUILD X!!!  It does not appear to have what it takes.
