  25. I use MST UNIX, and I have *never* had any problems with GCC.  For versions
  26. 2.2.1 and 2.2.2, all I ever had to do was "configure i386v4" and "make".
  27.  
  28. BTW, many GNU packages, including GCC and Emacs, are now available on tape
  29. from MST in source and binary form.
