  11. Dear netters,

  13. I am trying to generate a cross compiler from gcc-2.2.2 (host: sun sparc,
  14. target: board using m68k processor).  However, the INSTALL file in the
  15. gcc-2.2.2 package seems to suggest that I would need a cross-assmelber,
  16. cross-linker, 'ar', and 'ranlib' to build the cross compiler.  Does anybody
  17. in the net knows where I can get a gnu version of the above required tools?

  19. I suppose I can get gas-1.38.1 for the cross-assembler (is this true?), but
  20. what about the cross-linker, 'ar', and 'ranlib'?
