  13. Using vm-mail, I inadvertantly sent a message with
  14. unbalanced parentheses in the To line.

  18. the actual people getting the message, including myself,
  19. being listed on the Bcc: line.

  21. When I next tried to read my mail using vm, I got an error
  22. message to the effect that the variable "address-start" was
  23. undefined and I couldn't read new mail (including the Bcc
  24. copy to myself and the various bounced copies coming from
  25. other machines).

  27. I was able to correct the problem by using find-file to read
  28. my INBOX and then deleting the offending messages.
