  15. This is a very basic question, and I hope I am not making a fool
  16. of myself by asking it :-)

  18. We have both emacs 18.58.1 and 18.58.2 -- Until recently the 18.58.1
  19. version used to pop up a window of it's own when I ran it under
  20. OpenWindows 3.0 on a Sun Sparcstation.  It doesn't do it anymore
  21. and I have no clue why.  18.58.2 (I think this is a beta release)
  22. still works fine (pops up its own window).

  24. My question is what could have I done to 18.58.1?  Or am I
  25. confused and 18.58.1 doesn't ever pop up a window of it's own?
