  15. Has anyone written a GNU emacs interface to either the zip or the tar
  16. archive utilities?  I've been thinking of trying to write something
  17. that is a cross between dired mode and crypt.el to make it easier to
  18. manipulate archives without manually unpacking them.  I've already
  19. checked the Elisp directory, but didn't find anything obviously
  20. relevant.  Any leads would be appreciated.
