  13. Let me first say that I don't know anything about lisp, or much about
  14. any language for that matter...Anyway, I'm looking for something I can
  15. put in my .emacs file that will aloow me to:  (either)  auto insert a
  16. specific file into a new buffer with a certain name (ie:  ok, I'm in a
  17. buffer called "blah-blah-blah" and since it starts with "blah"
  18. autoinsert the file "so-and-so" to the end of the buffer) or, create a
  19. command that will allow me to autoinsert a specifc file at the end of
  20. the current buffer with a certain keypress (ie: pressing C-x C-I
  21. autoinserts the file "myfile" to the end of the current buffer)....

  23. Someone helped me out with this before, but my .emacs was auto-deleted
  24. by my system here, and I NEED IT BACK!  And, like I said before, I am
  25. a neophyte so please don't direct me to "autoinsert.el" or some other
  26. pre-existing lisp code which I can't comprehend....
