- I pulled Lucid off the net recently (Lucid is a set of modifications
- to emacs for X provided by a company that uses the editor as a basis
- for other stuff [due to the nature of this list, I'll skip any
- potentially commercial details]). I've gotten it built and dumped,
- but I get the error message:
-
- emacs: Terminal type invisible is not defined.
-
- I've hunted bear in the code and found that they set TERM=invisible
- and TERMCAP=invisible:cm=:co#80:li#24: in the environment. Then, they
- use a call to tgetent with the second parameter set to "invisible".
- This returns 0 which means a problem.
-
- Any ideas of what I can do to get past this (I'm not a serious UNIX
- hacker yet, but mostly an X/Motif kinda person:-)?
-
- Thanks and have fun! - Bob
