- Hello.
-
- I'm trying to install BASH on our stock AT&T System V r3.2 system running on
- an Intel 386 based machine.
-
- The problem occurs when make reaches newversion.c, saying that it has a syntax
- error at line 172 (after the End of the file).
-
- I am assuming that this is a product of AT&T's abysmal include file
- organization (It usually is) and can be fixed with a simple change in order or
- switch to a different #include..
-
- I've looked at all the installation docs, README, INSTALLATION, machines.h,
- config.h, sysdeps.h, etc.. and haven't the foggiest clue as to how to fix this
- problem..
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
-
- thanks

-
- P.S. I made every attempt to consult available documentation and other
- resources. if there's an FAQ somewhere that I missed, just douse the flames
- and throw me a pointer to it. thanks.
