  21. The Electronic Frontier Foundation seeks applications for a permanent, full-
  22. time position as an administrative staff assistant in its Washington, D.C., 
  23. office to begin immediately.

  26. RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS

  29.   * Daily monitoring of multiple publications using Lexis/Nexis as well as 
  30.     other on-line services.

  33.   * General research support for four professional staff members.

  36.   * Responsible for maintaining the EFF's clip files.

  39.   * Tracking Congressional legislation.

  42.   * Fufillment of information requests over the telephone and by regular 
  43.     and electronic mail.

  46.   * General clerical duties including, but not limited to, answering 
  47.     telephones, photocopying, data entry, etc.

  50. Candidates familiar with Macintosh computers and related applications and 
  51. related online systems, will be given preference.  Experience with/knowledge 
  52. of the legislative branch, computers and computer communications is 
  53. valuable.
