  10. Verdix Corporation seeks Software Engineers to develop the next
  11. generation of full-lifecycle Software Engineering Environments for Ada,
  12. C and C++.

  14. As a member of the CASE Development group, you will join a close-knit
  15. team of highly-talented, highly-motivated engineers using state-of-the-
  16. art technologies to develop a family of open-architecture IPSE
  17. (Integrated Programming Support Environment) products for both DoD and
  18. commercial applications.

  20. The jobs are located in our Northern Virginia headquarters in Herndon,
  21. Virginia, about thirty minutes west of Washington, DC. 
  22.  
  23. As a company, we provide CASE tools for major RISC-based workstations
  24. and complete Ada software development environments for embedded
  25. systems.

  29. Position: CASE Engineer
  30.  
  31. Reports to: Manager of APSE Development
  32.  
  33. Duties:
  34.  
  35.     Responsible for detailed design and subsequent implementation in
  36.     Ada of key components of the next generation of Verdix software
  37.     engineering environments.  Duties may include integration of 
  38.     third party tools, maintaining and enhancing the current product
  39.     line, writing and maintaining documentation, design and development
  40.     of user interface code, release and baseline management, testing 
  41.     and quality assurance, and other duties as directed by the
  42.     Manager of APSE Development.

  44. Qualifications:
  45.  
  46.     Candidate must have at least one year of industrial Ada programming
  47.     experience.  University experience in Ada does not count.
  48.  
  49.     Candidate must be a US Citizen or Resident Alien.
  50.  
  51.     Candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:
  52.  
  53.         UNIX and using Ada under UNIX
  54.         The X Window System and OSF/Motif or OpenLook
  55.         Object-Oriented Database Technology
  56.         Object-Oriented Design Techniques
  57.         CASE Tools as a User or Developer
  58.         Software Engineering Environments
  59.         Tool Integration
  60.
