- TITLE: Engineer Research
-
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain facilities and personnel of the Communications
- and Signal Processing Laboratory. Software development for various
- communications and signal processing algorithms on UNIX-based platforms.
- Software development on general-purpose DSP chips for real-time signal
- processing. Manage and coordinate software development projects.
- Applications and systems programming on UNIX-based systems. Aid in
- selection and acquision of various software systems in support of projects.

- REQUIREMENTS:
-
- Education:
- B.S. in Computer Science or B. S. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis
- in communications and signal processing required. Graduate level training
- is desired.

- Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of UNIX, X-windows, C, Fortran; programming experience
- in C and UNIX-shell is required. Some experience in programming
- DSP (such as DSP32C or TMS320C25) is required. Must have experience in
- operations management, UNIX systems programming, software development,
- project management, and language development.

- SALARY:
- Negotiable; commensurate with experience (minimum: $30,959)
