  26. I guess that PHIGS/PHIGS PLUS can never speed up to support 
  27. what you're demanding. By the time it did, another much better API would
  28. have probably widely accepted.  Maybe PEX can catch up in supporting those
  29. functionalities.

  31. I seem to have been convinced by Alan Akin that OpenGL superior to PEX in that
  32. there is little need in reformatting the application's data structure for graphics.
