- I think that the FAQ should be posted in its entirety every month;
- not compressed, encoded, or diff'd. One goal of having a FAQ is to
- reduce volume in the mail-group; but the really relevant measure of
- volume here is number of messages, not total byte count. Five
- messages per month to deliver the FAQ is nothing compared to the
- dozen or more messages posted every day (and I'm sure MANY more
- would be posted if we didn't have the FAQ).

- The August FAQ was posted in diff form. I found this very bother-
- some; it meant I had to take about a half-an-hour to manually
- insert the changes and renumber the whole thing. :(

- The FAQ is VERY useful and helpful to new subscribers. We want to
- ensure that they find out about it, and receive a copy in an
- easy to use form, as quickly as possible. The sooner they do,
- the fewer questions will be posted which can be answered by the FAQ.
