  13. I am looking any information about software for the Mac, Windows or
  14. X-Windows which is capable of displaying and manipulating map data
  15. (USGS data).  I know maps of the states and cities have become quite
  16. popular lately (with respect to marketing strategies), but I'm not
  17. sure if these programs provide 1) topos and 2) topos of say the
  18. mountain ranges in an area (i.e., I know USGS has that data but have
  19. the makers of these products removed this type of "irrelevant" data?).
  20. Any pointers will be appreciated.
