  13. Hi, I'm trying to find out what the shortest way to view a tiff
  14. file (as output by a program like RenderMan) on an 8-bit display is.

  16. xtiff doesn't seem to handle this.

  18. Is running tifftopnm and using xv/xloadimage the only answer?
