- please note that I'm aware that xterm is a vt100 emulator. however,
- at least according to the application we're trying to connect to,
- xterm doesn't send the correct function key sequences, and we *don't*
- want to remap the server to make it work. xvttool does the right
- thing, but doesn't seem to be too happy under X11.
