  14. I am looking for a running X11 Release 5 Server for the monochrome
  15. NeXTstation. I have tried the XServer from Paul Poh (Tufts University).
  16. There are two compilerdefines for switching between colour and monochrome:

  19.     -DNEXT_16BIT

  21. I have use NEXT_2BIT, but the server just says "no screens found". If I
  22. start the Server with "Xnext -cc 4" some kind of garbage appears on the
  23. screen. I have traced the problem down to the function "cfbCreateDefColormap".
  24. This function fails and so the Server terminates.
  25. Do I need any additional compilerdefines for the monochrome case ?
  26. Is there anybody who can help me ?
