- The subject says it all. I can't believe all of the bugs that I find using
- OW 3.0 File Manager. My favorite is that draging a folder out of the FM window
- onto the desk top ususally opens it in some random place on screen, sometimes
- completely off screen where you can't even get to it with the mouse! Another
- gem is that sometimes the list of files in a directory is blank when you first
- open it but if you resize the FM window slightly the list magically appears.
- Finally, every once in a while FM simply vaporizes into thin air.
-
- All of this is a little disconcerting in the OW application one uses to manipulate
- one's files. Can't SUN figure out how to open a window directly under the current
- position of the mouse? Can't SUN figure out how to manage window updating?
- I think all of this points out the immaturity of the SUN OS or simply a lack
- of concern for software quality control.
