  14. OW 3
  15. Sparc Station 2
  16. X11R5 patchlevel 12

  18. I am using olwm and the Open Windows server.
  19. I am having trouble with Xview ( and other applications ) connecting to the 
  20. Open Windows Server.  After .openwin-init gets executed, I get the following
  21. error:

  23. Xview Error:Cannot Open connection to Window Server: :0 (Server Package)

  25. The error appears a random number of times - as a result, the same number of 
  26. Xview applications do not get executed.
  27. A similar error appears for X11R5 applications that are booted from 
  28. .openwin-init.

  30. About the only significant factor is that the more X11R5 applications are
  31. present in .openwin-init, the more often the error(s) occur ( if there are no
  32. X11R5 programs in .openwin-init, the error virtually disappears ).

  34. I have played with my LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH to no affect.

  36. What is the problem? Is it Open Windows, X11R5, or just me?
