  13. Sun SS1+, OS 4.1.1, OpenWindows 3.2, olvwm 3.2 compiled with gcc 1.36
  14.
  15. I changed window managers between olvwm 3.1 and 3.2 today, without
  16. changing any resources or config files.  Immediately, I noticed a
  17. slow-down when using L5 (Front) and L7 (Open) on windows and icons, as
  18. well as when using F1-F6 to jump between screens.  The window manager
  19. pauses, pegs the CPU, and then responds about 2 seconds later by doing
  20. what I requested.
  21.
  22. But, if I double-click an icon, it opens immediately; same thing
  23. happens if I left-click the title button on a window frame, or
  24. right-click and select Close, or double click in the Virtual Desktop to
  25. change screens.  It's only slow when I use Open, Front, and the F
  26. keys.
  27.
  28. I've included the relevant contents of my .Xdefaults resources file
  29. below.
  30.
  31. Anybody experienced something similar?  Is there a workaround?  Am I
  32. doing something wrong?  (I need to get this figured out before I can
  33. release 3.2 for general use - I don't want to hear all my olvwm users
  34. whining "It's too slow ..." 8^)  Thanks in advance.
