- I have EXACTLY the same symptom (assuming this is a problem) - same
- machine, same program, stand alone. Basically, the load as displayed by xload
- appears to exhibit a capacitance-like effect. If it starts high,
- the (apparent) load will gently decay in a pseudo-exponential way
- to the expected level - over some time (i.e minutes - almost)
- despite no actual load on the system - that I know of....
