  14.  I am assisting a group of people who purchased 3 DecStation 5000's using
  15. Ultrix 4.2a- so far I am not impressed by the installation process or
  16. partition changing procedures, plus the diskless client setup.

  18. Anyway can anyone give me a run down on the install process and how much
  19. can I really control during the advanced install? Should I use the system
  20. management menu item after a cd-rom boot, to do the re-partitioning of the
  21. disk?  There seems to be some confusion about how to generate a partition
  22. for dlenv so that 'dms' utility can create what it needs for diskless clients.

  24. Thanks in advance for any comments or help... I am a SunOS expert so I am not
  25. very familiar with the ULTRIX install- but there are similarities, and the
  26. group I am helping are VMS people.
