- I've got ISC Unix 3.0, and I'm currently running with a primary
- Adaptec 1542B. Now someone's offered me a 330 Meg ESDI drive if I'd
- like it (I would; wouldn't you?). I want to install this drive as a
- secondary controller, so that I don't have to spend a day or so
- reconfiguring and reinstalling Unix over to the ESDI drive. However,
- kconfig doesn't offer me the option of selecting a secondary athd
- controller unless I also choose athd as the primary controller.
-
- Is it possible to config this way? What files do I need to alter
- (hpddinfo, dsk/space.c, others)? Can I patch kconfig so that it
- permits this configuration? Is there an insurmountable obstacle that
- prohibits this configuration? Thanks in advance.
