  10. I've got ISC Unix 3.0, and I'm currently running with a primary
  11. Adaptec 1542B.  Now someone's offered me a 330 Meg ESDI drive if I'd
  12. like it (I would; wouldn't you?).  I want to install this drive as a
  13. secondary controller, so that I don't have to spend a day or so
  14. reconfiguring and reinstalling Unix over to the ESDI drive.  However,
  15. kconfig doesn't offer me the option of selecting a secondary athd
  16. controller unless I also choose athd as the primary controller.

  18. Is it possible to config this way?  What files do I need to alter
  19. (hpddinfo, dsk/space.c, others)?  Can I patch kconfig so that it
  20. permits this configuration?  Is there an insurmountable obstacle that
  21. prohibits this configuration?  Thanks in advance.
