- Also, make sure that DCD is set high all the time. The serial driver does
- not respond unless this signal is set. I used a Gandalf EC2400 as well as
- a Microcom QX V.32bis, and both had to have DCD high. If you can not set
- the signal with a configuration switch, connect the modem to a terminal
- and issue AT&C0 and save the configuration (AT&W).
