  14. we recently tried to compile X386-1.2E on an X86 machie running SCO Unix
  15. version 3.2.4. We used the original SCO compiler and got the compiler to
  16. compile the stuff. The clients (xterm, ico, ...) are working so far.
  17. Unfortunately when compiling the X-Server the linker misses the routines
  18. inb, outb and outw. It complains about a missing asm-Routine too, but as
  19. we traced it the real problem here are the routines: intr_disable() and
  20. intr_enable().

  22. The inb/outb routines are used to read and write to the VGA control ports.
