- Try using each of the bitmap images with xsetroot and then banging on the
- side of the monitor lightly. The Sony trinitron is more susceptible to
- vibration when vertical lines are displayed because it has a rectangular
- holes in the shadow mask. This makes the pixels blend together easier but
- there is less support for the mask as there is less metal there and
- in a room with a lot of vibration that background wavering can make
- your eyes hurt after several hours of looking at it.
