- Hi!
- I'm running ISC 3.0 on i386. TCP/IP 1.3. and have a problem with
- telnet , while rlogin, rcp, rsh work fine.
-
- What are telnet's extra requirements in comparison with rlogin?
- Below is what I have after an attempt after an telnet attempt:
-
- >glas-369>telnet glas2
- >Trying...
- >Connected to glas2.igc.org.
- >Escape character is '^]'.
- >
- >
- >System V UNIX (glas2)
- >
- >Connection closed by foreign host.
- >glas-370>
-
- Interesting note: If I run 'telnet' under emacs's shell it works!
