- I think the Sparc technology is advancing faster than the PC technology.
- My 486/33 is about twice as fast as a Sun/386i and about comparable with
- a Sun Sparc/IPC (except slower on scrolling since I'm using VGA - I agree
- the proper hardware could make the 486 faster). However using a Sun
- Sparc/*IPX* makes the 486/33 seem downright doggy! Just compare the loading
- of a large mailbox in elm to see what I mean.

- Of course once the Sparc/10 (80+ mips (per processor)) hits the street,
- the INTEL line will be eating lots of dust!
