  11. I have just installed TCP/IP v1.3 on two ISC v3.0 machines: 'aegis'
  12. is on a Dell 386 33MHZ, 'ira' is on a TechPower 486 33MHz.  Both are
  13. running Sureman NE-13 (system says they are WD013EBT when it boots)
  14. and thin Ethernet. In addition, NFS v2.2 is installed.

  16. rlogin, ftp, telnet, rsh and file systems mounted with NFS are OK.
  17. But rcp only works maybe once or twice when ira gives up (usually
  18. when copying a file > 100K, only part of it is copied). The rcp
  19. process hangs (on either machine) and I can't get anything back from
  20. 'ping ira' on ira. Rebooting ira lets it run until I do another
  21. couple of rcp's.

  23. The boards have been switched between the machines (both run the
  24. same strap/DIP settings) and it does the same thing, it's always ira
  25. that ceases to work.
