- After all, adduser is just a shell script, so why not edit it to copy
- whatever you want to wherever you want it. For an example, my adduser
- asks sysadm what shell will be assigned to user, assigns it, copies
- the appropriate .login, .cshrc and .logout-files (different for tcsh,
- csh and sh, of course), automaticly determines first free uid and asks
- for gid, sends welcome mail to user and creates a home directory (location
- specified by gid) and adds his/her name to full name database (used by
- the mail system...)
