- I have not tried running NFS over SLIP yet, the problem is having SLIP
- configured on a system I'm trying to run NFS. (ISC 3.0 NFS 2.1 on a 486)
- The problem I found was "RPC time out cannot register rexd" ...
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- If I have SLIP configured in netd.cf as:
- sl0_ip = "/dev/sl0" lsap 0x888 # stream for IP messages
- link sl0_ip under ip_tcp name "sl0"
- ifconfig "sl0" slzippy shorty up
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Then NFS will not work at all, it says the server is not running?
- As I said I'm not trying to run NFS over SLIP.
-
- If I comment the SLIP stuff out and reboot, NFS works fine.
-
- Thanks,
-
