- I have compiled a reasonable sized library (getting on for 2Mb) and ld/ar
- just cant cope with the size of the external-symbol table. Hard coded
- limits (by the look of it) ... I would rat about SCO, but this seems about
- par for the course for them.
-
- I got a copy of GNU binutils-1.94-beta (I configured it for i386-sco-sysv)
- and it compiles wonderfully (using gcc-2.2.2) ... seems to be a fine
- replacement except that the linker it creates accepts i386 object files and
- tries to produce 68020 executables from them.
-
- Is there anyone out there who has compiled binutils-1.94-beta on SCO ODT,
- who could tell me how I have erred in configuring the package ?
-
- Many thanks in advance for any help,
- Tim
