- Folks,
-
- I need to switch the VGA console to 132x25 characters. I have
- investigated how to do this and have determined that I should be
- using ioctl(0,SW_VGA_C132x25). Unfortunately when I try this I
- get a return code of -1. I assume my approach is correct as I can
- change to 40x25 etc (not that I want to).
-
- I have tried this on an NCR System 3000/3445 running SVR4 1.03 and
- also on my Esix SVR4.03 at home and neither of them work.
-
- The NCR VGA diagnostics can change to 132x25 happily enough and running
- my system at home on DOS lets me go to 132x25 also.
-
- Is there a problem with Unix and its ioctl() approach?
-
- I would really appreciate some help on this one.
-
- Regards
