- I'm trying to set up a dump schedule for various Suns. I want to dump to a
- cartridge drive on an IBM RS/6000. So I read the FM and it says that I need
- to use rdump, and that I should use it from single-user mode. The problem
- with this is that all of the network stuff is initiated in /etc/rc.local,
- which isn't executed when I enter single-user. So how do I connect to the
- other machine? Do I have to bring up the various daemons "by hand"? If
- so, what would need to be brought up?
-
- Thanks for any info.
