  11. I received the advice that compile and link the kernel with -DXSERVER.

  13. The kernel from X-dist does not work ( for me ).

  15. After making a new kernel... The xinit starts, i get two lines of text
  16. and it just enters the binary nirvana.

  18. The machine dont hang entirely. I can log in from my VAX with telnet
  19. and kill the process, wherafter i have a core.X386 in $HOME...
