  23. Although I am a german, I will never buy books which are translated into
  24. german because most of them are translated so badly, that you have to know
  25. the english translation to understand it !
  26. Sometimes the german translation arrives and the software they are
  27. describing is already out-of-date. This happened, e.g., with a book for
  28. MS-Windows 2.1 programmers which arrived one week before MS-Windows 3.0 was
  29. sold in Europe !
  30. There are some reasons why I prefer the original english books.
