- Seem to have a problem with NFS on my 386BSD system. I am
- mounting a BSD partition on my Dell UNIX system using:
- mount -F nfs -orsize=1024,wsize=1024,hard chibsd:/local /mnt
- If I append to a file on the mounted partition, it overwrites
- the file instead of appending to the bottom. Easiest way to
- do this is to
- date >> foo
- date >> foo
- Only one line shows up. This has completely screwed my rkive
- program as it does a lot of appending to the index files.
- It does not happen if I mount the Dell system to BSD or
- if I mount a Dell partition via NFS from the Dell box.
-
- Any ideas?
