  11.     Seem to have a problem with NFS on my 386BSD system.  I am
  12.     mounting a BSD partition on my Dell UNIX system using:
  13.     mount -F nfs -orsize=1024,wsize=1024,hard chibsd:/local /mnt
  14.     If I append to a file on the mounted partition, it overwrites
  15.     the file instead of appending to the bottom.  Easiest way to
  16.     do this is to 
  17.     date >> foo
  18.     date >> foo
  19.     Only one line shows up.  This has completely screwed my rkive
  20.     program as it does a lot of appending to the index files.
  21.     It does not happen if I mount the Dell system to BSD or
  22.     if I mount a Dell partition via NFS from the Dell box.
