  18. This is exactly the same situation as mine!
  19. The following is my configuration.

  21.    HI-Tech USA ISA-486/33 w/ AMI BIOS and SiS Chipset
  22.    8MB RAM
  23.    Adaptech 1542B
  24.    HP2213A 633MB SCSI Disk
  25.    IBM DOS 5.0

  27. I removed all cards (i.e. IDE/FDD,1P/2S/1G) except Video (Diamond
  28. SpeedStar Plus) and 1542B from AT bus and re-installed 386BSD from the
  29. FDD controlled by 1542B. But the situation was not changed.

  31. Then, I tried to install to IDE disk (Conner CP30104H) and the 386BSD
  32. was successfully booted from the hard drive.

  34. So, I think our problems are related to disk controlers or hard disks.
