  12. Does BSD use /etc/ethers ? Other OSs use it to make sure that no machine
  13. does contact with an illegal IP address (if IP address and ethernet address
  14. are not the same found in /etc/ethers).

  16. Ok, ethernet addresses can be modified, but it's not so easy if you haven't
  17. got the software to do it.
